Welcome to Biological Sciences

The Department of Biological Sciences offers a vibrant research environment with world-class faculty leading the way in many areas of biological research.

Our graduate programs include our PhD program in Biological Science and three indisciplinary MS programs:

  1. A 2- or 3-semester MS program in Quantitative Biology and Bioinformatics
  2. A 3-semester MS program in Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Engineering (joint with the Department of Chemical Engineering)
  3. A 4-semester MS program in Computational Biology (joint with the Computational Biology Department)
